Many are wasting time complaining about how unfair their situation is, whilst many others IN A SIMILAR SITUATION, are working hard towards the direction of the better life they desire. Complaining will do nothing to improve our life, if we are not willing to back up our words with monumental action.
Things may look difficult, but that doesn’t mean they are impossible. Just because something is difficult, doesn’t mean it isn’t worth doing.
When the world demands more of us than we think we can handle, most of us immediately feel disempowered and weakened. However, with a quick change in attitude and perception, we can think differently. We can adopt an ACCEPTANCE attitude (instead of a resistance attitude) towards all of our responsibilities and begin to ask ourself -
“How can I get more out of myself?”
When we think in this new, empowering way, we may notice an immediate shift in our attitude. We go from a sense of overwhelm to a sense of challenge and excitement. When we demand more of ourself, what we are really doing is acknowledging our TRUE potential. We are deciding to unleash MORE of that potential that may be lying dormant within us.
As the singer Pink once said -
“You can’t move mountains by whispering at them.”
Demand more of yourself than anyone could ever expect.
It’s either that, or you inadvertently choose to move towards the end of your life with all of the potential buried inside of you.
